Post Titled: the Reader
Apparently, coincidentally through Nadine's agency, I am now booked as an extra in the new Stephen Daldry film "The Reader" for a beach scene to be filmed here near Berlin where i have to be an american GI in the 1950's. Initially, I didn't care much, but when I imdb'd Daldry and found that he had done Billy Elliott and is doing The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay I was completely adrenalinated and called the agency right back to confirm. I love Kavalier and Clay. (Sucker.) and even if I stopped acting in 2001 I still had a good time as an extra in Sherman Alexie's "The Business of Fancy Dancing"- hmm, we shall see.
