Message from St. George's regarding ADVENTURES OF POWER:


Movie Night is not exactly back. But St. George's Bookshop would like to announce a premiere screening, this Saturday at Babylon Mitte. "Adventures of Power", a new American independent comedy, tells the epic story of an air-drummer trying to save the American Dream. It played Sundance, won prizes at seven international festivals and stars cast members from "Entourage", "This is Spinal Tap," and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin." It will be released in the States in the fall, but Saturday at 8PM is the German premiere. The film's director and star, Ari Gold (not a stage name), will be at the screening to answer questions following the show.

The screening will take place at Babylon Mitte, 30 Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße. If you mention St. George's Bookshop at the box office, you will receive a €1.50 discount off the ticket price (€6.50 -> €5.00). And in honor of the bookshop, the Babylon is offering the first three St. George's ticket-buyers a free set of tickets to the upcoming "Rocky Horror Picture Show" screenings at the Babylon.

The night before the screening, director/star Ari Gold will also be performing LIVE as Power, an air-drummer crashing the 6th German Air Guitar Contest.
