I just wondered if the southern term "Bubba" for (a) "boy" might've come from bübe- German, also term for a boy.

So, around the office we came up with some new words and acronyms. or maybe they aren't even ours, dunno- but we thought we invented them, off the top of my head:

SPAMMEMO or SPAMEMO: a memo spammed to the entire company
HITR ("Hole In The Racket"): When you are skyping or IM-ing multiple people at the same time and accidentally send a line of text to the wrong person.
