Post Titled: Oppression of the internet and communications both in a personal want in a super-structural way, (i.e. the need to know and use)
Post Sub-Titled: More good reasons not to live in the United States and if you still live tere you should consider leaving.

So much to know, so little (free) time -
NY TImes: "WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 — President Bush signed into law on Sunday legislation that broadly expanded the government’s authority to eavesdrop on the international telephone calls and e-mail messages of American citizens without warrants."
From "NSA-OK: President Bush has signed a law broadening the scope of federal warrantless wiretaps by allowing electronic surveillance of targets believed to be overseas, even if they are talking to someone in the United States. The legislation codifies the controversial NSA program started after 9/11 to cut through the red tape on tapping suspected terrorists' phone lines."
