My favorite Scheider film is Mishima. He's the narrator.
I'm getting married in the summer. I was given the choice: band or DJ. Who ever wants to be given such a meaningless expensive choice? I said: Neither. JB said: Well, what then? And I said: Why not a voiceover? We can have Roy Scheider narrate what is going on inside our heads or read passages from Mishima's novels.
Lost that argument, as expected. Plus it doesn't matter now, RS being dead and all.
Years ago I had a fairly rare book about Mishima by Henry Miller... I wonder where that book is... I think I mailed it to Ευγενία Σταυροπούλου...
