The Golden Spike Landmark... because Sacramento clearly needs a giant golden spike landmark...
In the first through the third grades in Belleville, Illinois they would take us to the tiny subterranean library to check out books- but besides reading Dr. Seuss all we ever did there was look at the Guinness Book of World Records. We did manage to check out Roald Dahl, though, and read him with a passion... oddly enought I just learned that Jeff Tweedy of Wilco comes from the small town of Belleville, Ill.
