and I was also fortunate enough to get ahold of an advance copy so it is easy to confirm; yes: Tod Wodicka's new novel is pretty-much totally amazing -
and it is actually also safe to say it is better than his first, All Shall Be Well, and All Shall Be Well, and All Manner of Things Shall Be Well - which was also met with a ton of critical acclaim.
So: go Tod! (Must be that, uh, fantastic Berlin air? ;)
Apparently the author will be on BBC Radio 3 on Monday to talk about one of the Household Spirit's themes: sleep paralysis - not sure if people outside the UK can listen to that...
