Post Titled: On the Destruction Of BUILDINGS.

I was spookily charmed
at this post in BLDG BLOG with comparisons juxtaposing old ruins with new ruins... merely becaused the sight of ancient ruins inspires awe and nostalgia whereas the site of new ruins wells-up deep-seeded fear and nausea recalling tragedies and attacks of the past decades... respectable vs. ghostly-ghastly, have a look got yourself HERE

Furthermore, I am currently all huffy with the Huffington Post for not publishing my comment to Steve Rosenbaum's Blog about Spider-Man 3 and the (same) deep-seated fear of the destruction of modern skyscrapers and the kinds of felings it arouses in the contemporary viewer... I mean, he makes a great point,
but where is my goddamn comment?!?, -they have posted such no-brainer comments as "So you're advocating censorship?" and "You're right - it's you." but they have yet to publish mine- which points out that there is a factual error in Mr. Rosenbaum post because the haywire crane scene which he refers to was actually caused by an electical short, not an attack of the Sandman (am I wrong?) but also that there are several specific things about Spider-Man (1) that were directly related to Sept. 11, not to mention that the scene where he creates a web between the Twin Towers had to be re-edited out of the film before its release... grr. He doesn't even properly hyphenate "Spider-Man"...
