Post Titled: Flaws of Superman II

After watching Superman II for the first time since the mid 1980's I noticed a few things:
1.Anybody notice anything funny about the DVD menu? (Obviously this is a flaw on the part of whoever designed the German DVD) Well, there are the twin towers there beneath the Man of Steel, and unless Metropolis has twin towers just like New York then this is the New York skyline NOT Metropolis, -where Superman lives and works.

2.In Superman II there are three "bad guys" from his home planet of Krypton who show-up on earth. They supposedly have the exact same superpowers as superman EXCEPT they also seem to use a white beam from their fingers (which is like a tractor-beam), which you never see Superman use. Also, in the final showdown at the Fortress of Solitude, all the Kryptonites are able to holographically/teleport, a superpower which was never featured before or again as far as I know- (confusing)

3.Superman, when showing Louis around the Fortress of Solitude, is unaffected by the piece of kryptonite he has there- he just casually carries it around- whereas in the first film (as well as others) it weakens him to the point of near-death.

Furthermore, the newest Superman film, Superman Returns (by Bryan Singer) is not so much a sequel of any of the first four films but more of a remix, like Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. Lex Luthor's plan to become a real-estate supermogul is more or less the same... however, I will have to do some more research to continue this post...
