Homeowners Associations put the smack down on the "eyesore" of outdoor laundry drying in the USA- which may change due to rising energy costs... seems weird now... since the only way we dry our laundry is on the rack...

(I don't even think I've SEEN a clothes drying machine in Berlin... ok, maybe I walked by a laundromat once or twice, but that is it...)
