woah! the internet continues to show me places/people in states of flux. last night found out one of my favorite teachers in school died in march at the age of 46 unexpectedly, and today find out angel island is ablaze! (it's in the san francisco bay, really quite beautiful and is a park one can only access via chartered or private ship)
